Microsoft Mouse is not recognized.

By christina ·
I am updating an old server. I have installed a new hard drive (SCSI). I can not get the mouse to attach. I have tried nine different types and it still will not recognize. I have installed two new ports and still no luck. The machine never had a mouse connected to it. Would someone please direct me in this situtation. Iam at my wits end.
Thank you

Hmmm, not too many details here to go on, like operating system, hardware config, etc etc.

Here's a shot in the dark: are com ports configured in your BIOS? Go into BIOS at boot up and check, probably under advanced options, depending on yourBIOS.
