Microsoft VM for NT4

By shuff2000 ·
I am looking for a way to get Microsoft VM installed on a Windows NT4 workstation. I tried the Sun version but it did not work for the application this user is running.

I know that MS does not offer it as a download and you can only update it ifyou already have it installed on your computer.

Any help would be appreciated.

As you know, MS has stopped support for NT.

JAVA Virtual Machine can still be downloaded, you just have to work the system a bit.

Go to the Information for IT professionals page, and click on the Windows Update Catalog.

When you get to the updates page, select Windows 98.

Under critical updates, JAVA VM is listed.
According to the information link, the download runs on both W98 and NT systems.

Good luck,
