Microsoft wants to be a player in VoIP

The release of Live Communications Server (LCS) 2005, Microsoft's instant messaging server, is going to begin moving that product toward becoming an IP telephony solution, according to Microsoft Watch.

Ah, to someday have VoIP that is sold like silk and runs like mayonnaise.

I love it when products are built to fill the void in everyone. Death by the masses.
