I have two Windows Server 2003 standard editions that need so be migrated file and folder shares to a new machine also running Windows Server 2003 standard. The two older machines will be retired. I’ve been doing some test migrations using the File Server Migration Toolkit. Can someone tell me why when the file shares are migrated to the new server that the files are coming over as system hidden files? I always have to use the attrib command on the shares on the new server after the migration. – thx
