We are a rapidly expanding software company providing Human Logistics applications to predominantly the security marketplace but are looking to grow in other market areas.
I am currently starting my investigations into RF devices for incorporation into our main product TimeGate to provide proof that guards perform their duties correctly in a timely fashion. We are working on a PDA solution and are looking for the RF tags to provide evidence the a guard is in attendance. The RF tags will contain at least a unique ID for pickup by either the PDA or a more cost effective solution a mobile phone.
Has anyone have experience of this or has encountered any technology of interest to provide this. Method for connection to our application would be through .NET web services.
