i have a pc tell 56k v 90 with all the latest (microsoft update) drivers
my modem dials the isp fine…goes through all the connection verification and does different things after it communicates with the isp
error that device attached to system isnt working
error that remote computer did not respond
error that protocols are wrong
sometimes it will connect at a very low speed 14k 24k 26k 28k 33k 36k 38k 41k and normal is 45k and once it even said 1.2 k !?!?
it will connect to the isp and then it will not load webpages or make any sort of transaction with the isp (this is very frustrating) and then sometimes is will not respond for a few seconds then will load half a page then stop (sometimes this goes on for a while)
and last but not least it will just disconnect with no warning
