I help out partially sighted people with PC problems. Ken uses a SUN 21″ monitor with screen magnification software – the monitor has started fading out (no “click” when it does this BTW) If he switches off at the mains and then switches back on, it seems to right itself. As Ken has very limited vision he is very unlikely to have played with power settings etc. on his PC. My guess is that something internal to the monitor is goosed and the likliehood of a repair is low. Any guidance plesae?
