I have a problem with my monitor. When I start the computer, the monitor signal is amber, not green…and I dont hear the post signal beep. I then tried to start the computer again…only to wait until the cd rom lights blinks and then quickly turn on the monitor. At that point,I finally hear the post beep immediately and the monitor screen is then viewable(green light)…Sometimes the keyboard does not light up, signaling me that the post did not follow through.I have tried everything: checkedpower cords, reseated video card, switched the monitor with another machine and it worked normally…I have the latest video drivers..I really would like to stop the annoying pushing of the monitor button to get the thing going….I have pIII WINDOWS 2000 with the lastest service pack 3 and direcx 8 drivers, geforce2 mx 64 mb video, 733 mhz intel processor. Mobo is only two years old. I hav a VIA chipset, which I also install their 4-in one drivers, but that wasn’t the problem. Thanx
