For some reason the double clicking of my mouse is not accepting specific
characters in one double click at a time And it varies depending what
application I am using.
for example:
In Notepad – the following is typed in
playerA/PlayerB vrsPlayerC\PlayerD
When I click on playerA/PlayerB and double click, it will only highlight
playerA then the / then PlayerB it breaks it up. However, if I reverse
the slash to \ then PlayerC\PlayerD is completely highlighted when I double
click.
The same holds true for addresses, Pretend1234@hotmail.com In Outlook, it
will only allow me to double-click in portions, Pretend1234 then @ then
hotmail then . then com, however in Notepad I can only get the Pretned then
1234 then @hotmail then . then com
I have adjusted and re adjusted my settings for mouse. I have tried
troubleshooting..
My mouse worked perfectly on the double-clicking in any application I was
using. This only changed once I installed XP.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
