I have a problem with my mouse pointer where it will suddenly move to another location on the screen when I’m using it.
Another problem is that the ‘show mouse tracks’ option does not work with my mouse.For your information,when I was using Win98SE,the ‘Device Manager’ under ‘System Properties’ will show that the mouse is not working properly because my bios is reporting the device wrongly.
But then when I upgraded the OS to WinME,the same problem occurs but this time the ‘Device Manager’shows that my mouse is working properly.
Instead,in the System Information under ‘Problem Devices’ it shows: “Device:ACPI IRQ Holder for PCI IRQ Steering Error code:22 PNP Device ID:ACPI\*PNPOCOF\00000003”
