MS Exchange Server 2003. Creating a email address to sends to all.

By shakim ·
Config: MS exchange mail server 2003 and Outlook 2003, pop3.

I know you can create a list in OL2003. But is there a way to create a single email address, example. allemployees@yourcompay.com and have that email send out email to all the email address listed. Basically the address would be a shortcut to all the address in exchange server.

Maybe

Maybe if you set up that email to forward all the emails it receives to everyone else ?

So everytime it receives and email, email will be automatically forwarded to users.

I dont know if you can do that in exchange. But i can do that with linux.

Create a universal distibution group on AD and add current users to that DL ;

For future users ensure that your group policy will automatically add them on to that DL while creating a Network account.

This would be simple , let me know if you need more info !
