We have terminal server that pretty much everyone connects to. I can’t remember how it happened, but clients are complaining about this message. It says ‘TestAAMVA’ on the top and message says ‘Component MSCOMCTL.OCX or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid’. I looked up on other website and it tells me to change or re-download this mscomctl.ocx file in windows directory. However, it is not user’s computer, because if we make batch file and run it on desktop, it works. It only happenes if user tries to do something on terminal server. By creating batch file made it to work, but I need to find out why it’s happening and how to fix it. Please help me
