multi-boot cd?

Is there any way to create a bootable cd that has mutiple configurations (menu choice), and multi command.coms? that goal is launch programs on boot up off the cd that don't require being on th ehadr drive. an any one help me?

Read this, print this, and understand that you can do this with multiboot as long as the first boot is to a menu type of system that are in the same Windows family.

You can also do this with multiple OSes, but I have not found anything spelling out how to do that. I know that people purchase cd-roms that boot to mac or pc based systems... but I cannot find how those are created.

Hi,

You should also be able to use the following to create a bootable CD and then configure the AUTORUN to be a menu selection.

Ignore the fact that it creates a WinXP bootable install disk. It could create any disk...

...but! What kinds of programs were you hoping to run from the booted CD?

You wont be able to run any "normal" windows programs as they need access to many aspects of the OS that you simply wont have on the CD alone.

Basically you'll be restricted to DOS applications. Hope this isn't going to be a problem for you...
