Multiplying a row by a number creating a new row with the answer

By DeniseBorremans ·
How do I take a column of numbers and mulitply it by the same number, and have the answer appear in a column beside?

ex: column A1 to A244 x 14=the answers to appear in column B

are you asking to add up A1 through A244 then * 14?

If so there is a couple different ways... in column A245 you could put =SUM(A1:244), and in column B place =(A245*14)

Added: or just in column B place =SUM(A1:A244)*14
