      Several questions

      1. What do you mean by connectivity is blocked? What kind of reply are you getting whe you try and ping other computers:
      Request timed out?
      Destination not reachable?
Ping request could not find host?

      2. Are you trying to ping by IP address or computer name? If you are pinging by name, it could be a name resolution issue?

      3. How are IP addresses being assigned: manually, or through DHCP on some other device?

      4. Are you the only one having problems, or other users having similar problems?

      5. 30 computers are an awful lot of computers for a workgroup environment. Do you have a real server (a computer running a server OS), or do you have a PC that is designated as the “server?” Trying to share resources between that many computers without a true server, could be causing many problems.
