My Dell keeps locking up

By geoffdiane ·
My Dell Dimension 4300 frequently locks up and I have to manualy shut down every time it happens.
Pressing CTRL-ALT-DEL tells me either:
Sschbtn (Not responding)
or Spool 32 caused error in SSCHJNLL>DLL

That must be some sort of add-on app. Look through your startup files and disable anything that is not a standard windows app. Then add things back in one at a time until you come across the error again. That will be the offending program.

Enjoy,

I'd also consider finding an updated printer driver or uninstalling and reinstalling your current printer driver if no update is available.
