My Favorites at the File, Open command

By Teach_2more ·
When using MS Word 2007? the File, Open command (so that I see a box with names of files in it, and I can open them) -- on the left of the box are choices of My documents, My recent documents, etc.

Word 2003 gave me the choice of My Favorites at the File, Open command.

Have they deleted that choice? In Word 2007 I can still get at all Favorites, including Word files, by going to the Internet, but that is cumbersome when I want only a Word file. That complete list of Favorites includes lots of Internet favorites so that my Word favorites get lost in the Internet favorites, and it seems crazy to have to leave Word in order to get Word files.

The only way I can get to Favorites in 2007 word/open is to navigate under folders to users/myprofile/favorites.
It's still there just not pinned to the navigation bar in the "open" window.
