My websites on my laptop do not show logos or backgrounds

By decunzo ·
Websites displayed on my laptop have a white background - no color or logos, you can read things but all the other stuff is missing.
What do I do to correct this? Is there a setting that I need to check off within "Internet Options"?
Thanks.

More information needed........

by ThumbsUp2 In reply to My websites on my laptop ...

Is this for every web site you visit, or just one particular website?

What operating system are you running on the laptop?

What browser are you using to view web pages with?

Have you tested with a different browser on these same web sites?

If using Internet Explorer, check Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Multimedia and make sure "Show Pictures" is checked. While you're in there, also check on the General tab under colors and fonts to make sure you're not overriding web pages with your local settings.

If that doesn't help, you need to provide more detail.

problems with this laptop while connecting to your work computer romotely. Are you sure there are no issues/problems with the laptop?

Are these webpages you're trying to view remotely on your work computer?

Like ThumbUp2 suggested....more information would be helpful.

I didn't look at other posts by the same person. Good catch! It helps to narrow the field of possibilities.
