I have a cable connection. My work sent me a AT&T NetGate 8100 VPN router. It connects my work PC and an IP phone and is secured & my home network will not run off of it. I am currently disconnecting the modem from my work setup and plugging into my home network when I am not working, but my IP phone loses its program and it takes forever to get the work connection back up again.
Is there a way I can connect BOTH the work VPN router setup and my home Cisco Linksys wired/wireless network so I don’t have to unplug/plug them back & forth? I don’t need to access the Internet at the same time for work & home, but need to leave the work computer/IP phone plugged in for updates, etc.
If you have a solution, could you please explain in simple terms, I am not a very advanced networker.
