This sounds embarrassing but I dont know what the following things are. Its about hardware solution actually but I would need a generous help on what these requirements are, like what video card, memory and everything else are needed to meet the following requirements.

FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
SERVER:
RDBMS
-specifically supports Oracle RDBMS 10g
-supports other major RDBMS (i.e. Informix, Sybase, SQL Server, etc.) for future upgrade or possible replacement

Operating System (support for any one would do)
-supports the Unix operating system
-supports Windows Server 2003
-supports the Novell Netware network O/S

CLIENT:
Operating System (support for any one would do)
-supports the Microsoft Windows XP
-supports any flavor of Linux
-supports Mac OS X or higher

Applications
-Adobe Premiere Photoshop
-Oracle 10g Development Suite

Multimedia
-supports audio and video playback

NETWORK:
-supports TCP/IP network protocol
-supports SPX/IPX network protocol

TECHNICAL SUPPORT:
-provides 24 x 7 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) support services
-provides support through the web
-provides technical support telephone hotlines
-assures maximum response time of 4 hours on-site support
-provides product warranty of more than one year

TRAINING:
-provides administrator and end-user training on the use and maintenance of the vendor products

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
SERVER:
-supports 64-bit computing
-minimum of 4 GB RAM
-minimum of 400 GB of hard disk space
-DVD-Writer drive
-tape drive (for backups) that supports at least 100 GB/tape
-17? SVGA color monitor or better

CLIENT:
-supports 64-bit computing
-minimum of 1 GB RAM
-minimum of 80 GB of hard disk space
-19? SVGA color monitor or larger
-video capture capability
-TV output
-surround sound capability

Also, I would add that there is an existing pool of fifty (50) Pentium III PCs running at 933 MHz, so would it be cost-effective to just upgrade them or replace them with new ones? Saying that the company that will be using these hardwares is a big time channel branch some where, should it need a single server (100-user can logon simultaneously) or would it need an additional server? What is best to do?
