Need to Network 7 computers together

I have 7 pcs and one workstation. The seven pcs are not networked, but each are wired to a hub which is connected to a wireless router. I recently got a workstation to act as a server for the 7 computers but dont know how to network them. There is some tutoring software that I want to install on the workstation and want the other computers to see it.

What is the best approach at this point? Connect the workstation to the hub and begin there or replace one of the computers with the workstation.

From this point what do I need to do?

What are your plans

The seven pcs are not networked but each are wired to a hub which is connected to a wireless router. if they are all connected to a hub than they are networked together. Depending on what your plans are for the network depends on the steps you would take. Are you looking at file and print sharing? Setting up a game lan? The first thing you should do is change the pc's to all the same workgroup.

Thanks for the response. My main purpose is to do file/print sharing. How do I go about setting up a workgroup?

What OS are you using? In Xp you right-click my computer properties and select change. Create a name. and change all PC's to that. How are the computers getting internet connection? also you want to enable file an print sharing on all pcs.
