Needing help… strange random beeps

by kmccall . Updated 22 years, 5 months ago

Ok this is been difficult for me, if anyone can help I would be very grateful.
Ever since I built this one PC I have been recieving odd random beeps maybe once or twice day 2 or 3 in row. I doesn’t matter if I am on the PC or what OS is loaded.
I started out with the following hardware:AGP SIS315 Elite Group video card, Shuttle AK12a Motherboard, IBM 40GB harddrive, PNY 256MB SDRAM 3.3v Unbuffered Gold Contacts, Power Supply AL-A300ATX P4 ready/AMD Listed, Duron 1.1Ghz, Generic CDrom, Generic Floppy.

I have tried a different 300watt power supply, different stick of ram (Crucial 512MB SDRAM PC133),new liteon Cdrom drive, Smaller 4GB hardrive Caviar. All of the above I still recieved the odd random 2-3 beeps in a row, hard to test because only happens maybe once or twice a day.
Recently I thought it had to be the motherboard or the processor so I change old out with Intel’s motherboard D845WN with a Celeron processor 1.7GHz. Still recieve the same errors to my amazement, any suggestions? I am lost? Only things that are original is the Case, Floppy, and Case fan? Please help if possible I’m desperate. By the way I have tried it at different houses so it isn’t the AC house power.
Thank you for any help,
Kevin
