I would like to be able to broadcast to all nodes on the network. Some NT4 workstation clients receive net send messages whilst others do not and error message is:
“An error occurred whilst sending a message to nnn. The alias could not be foundon the network.” The HELPMSG 2273 suggests incorrect spelling of alias or remote computer is busy. However, I get an instant response when pinging the alias.
I would be grateful for advice.
