First off, I just wanna say that I’m only a student on his first co-op term. So bare with me here.
Okay so I work in a server room and we’re having issues with 2 netgear switches. (7328S layer-3 managed switches)
Originally they were stacked together but once we performed a firmware update, they stopped communicating together.
We decided to reset both switches to factory settings and my boss decided to roll back the firmware of switch B.
There are alot of holes here, but this is because I wasn’t around for much of this. I’m merely trying to think “outside the box” and ask for other’s opinions.
Lastly, when trying to set the device’s IP settings, I get an error saying “vlan ID is used for routing”
Newest firmware is 8.0.1.2
Any thoughts would be welcome.
