netware 4.1 client installation

I am trying to install the netware client on a Windows 98SE machine but do not know how. Please help me.

Download the latest client from http://download.novell.com.

Extract it to an install directory

Arm youself with the tree name for your network.

Run the client installer in CUSTOM mode. When given the choice for protocols, choose IPX ONLY. Take the default to answer the other questions, except when it asks for the tree name.

Reboot and test the login.

Extract the install file if needed. Run the Setup.exe file and follow the install steps. You should be able to browse to the Tree and Context where the user object has been created. You can typically follow the defaults for the install. Depending on the version of NetWare you are using, you should choose IP and IPX for the protocal type. There is no harm in listening on both protocals.
