I have a new Windows 2003 Server that is going to be used as a webserve and setup on a DMZ. I need to configure a NIC with an internal address of 172.20.50.xx and an external address of 64.150.xxx.xx
Any pointers will be appreciated.
TIA,

Charlie

why multi-home the server

by CG IT In reply to Network Admin

not sure why you need to multi-home the web server.

how is your DMZ created? is it between 2 routers? or 2 firewalls or 2 routers which act as firewalls? are there any managed switches in there?

Multi Home

by cknotts In reply to why multi-home the server

Sorry for not giving you all of the information.
The server is behind a SonicWALL 4060 with NAT already setup. The server is being added to a Nortel switch which is connected to the DMZ port on the 4060. The firewall is attached to a Cisco 1700 series router.

Thanks again,

Charlie
