Network Administrator

I have an existing network which are on the workgroup. am also expanding my network to a differnt room using workgroup.Now i have a wireless router (Linksys wireless router)which i have a difficulty to configure to suite my network.I also have internet how do i distribute and have smooth network

hi there,

It will depend on how many computer you might have.

You can buy 2 small switches (with 4 to 16 ports depending on the number of computers). Have these to swithes setup on the rooms where you have the computers. Then have ethernet cables running from there switches to your wireless router. Have the computer connected to these switch, and your wireless router connected the modem provided by your ISP.

The setup should:

ISP Modem-->Wireless Router-->Switches-->computers
