Hi,
I am using a Network with UTP and Coax. At present our Warehouse & Logistics is at distance of 300 mts & 550mts respectively.I have the servers In the main office building and all the clients are accessing it through UTP Cat 5e with 100mbps 3Com Switch, and for my Logistics & Warehouse Clients i am using Coaxial cable with converting the signal using UTP-BNC convertor.
In summer season it was working quiet well but now due to rain and cold temperature conditions, frequently i am facing problems for the signal to reach till 600mts,the signal is droping at 300mts. I want to upgrade this Network using only UTP. So, that i should use only UTP,(Ex: UTP Switchs, repeaters etc…..)
Can anybody suggest me what to be used for my UTP Network so that the signal should reach till there. (or any other Suggestions for other Network Topology & equipments )
