What OS's are on these machines?

by OH Smeg In reply to Network prob.

I know that they are some form of Windows but without knowing more it's not possible to give a better answer.

I would however suggest unplugging from the mains your Switch/Hub and allow it to discharge the Internal Capacitors then plug it back in and see if that helps.

If it doesn't you'll need to post back with more information as this is OS Related not Software.

Run Services.msc from the run box, or click on Services in Start → Programs → Administrative Tools.

Ensure Computer Browser and Server services are running.

Check your Symantec EPS.

by seanferd In reply to Network prob.

I can't tell you how, because I have never used it. However, other users have found it suddenly denying file access. Ensure there are no settings preventing other computers from connecting. If any software has been updated or changed on client systems, this may have an effect.
