I am studing for my Bachelors degree in Network security. I was hoping to get some insight information on the skills needed to be an excellant Security Admin. here is what I know so far.
1.Secure strong password enforcement..But how can we make the masses use them with out becoming a Nazi about it?
2.Securing the servers behind a locked door
3.Checking for unsecured ports on the network..But what is the best technique in doing this?
4.Physical security. Would I be responcible for running the internal security department as in teh roaming security guards?
5.Cmpany security protocals…Would it be my job to establish and enforce them?
