I work on a Star Topology network with 5 Win 98 SE and 1 Win 2000 Pro PCs.
Connected HP Deskjet 712C to Local printer port on one Win 98 PC (call this PC ‘A’)
Succesfully configured Win2000 PC to Network Print to A’s printer port.
Problemwith configuring second Win 98 PC (call this PC ‘B’)to network print.
Downloaded latest drivers, specified correct port, but keep getting errors with connection.
Testing communication between PC B and A’s printer yields error, “no response received from printer.”
Can browse B from A and A from B in Netwotrk Properties
All help is appreciated.
