I have been trying to establish a wireless network for two computers (one a Compaq laptop the other a Dell Dimension E521). Both computers have windows XP. There is a Westall modem connected to the DSL. I want to use a NetGear WGR614 router, 54 MBPS. The connection is pppoe.The internet works on the laptop when conntected to Verizon DSL. But when the router is connected, to modem the internet isn’t accessible. Verizon gave us a “bridge” (and the internect connection went away) but then asked us to call D Link for the rest of the connection process. We couldn’t get through to D Link. Can you help with the next steps to get the internet back and have the PC’s network with Verizon DSL? THANKS!!!!
