I have a windows 2003 SP1 server that I?m trying to change the SID on. I?m using sysinternals newsid program and just after it starts the newsid.exe program crashes. After I rebooted the server the DEP (Data execution protection) was questioning newsid.exe. I added newsid.exe to allow the program to run but it still crashes just after it starts. I have disabled some of the services prior to running newsid.exe and wondered if this could be causing the problem. Has anyone seen this before?
