New site in Active Directory/Exchange

By robpgfc ·
Good evening,
I am looking to seek some advice from some experienced people in regards to our IT infrastructure.

Basically we are expanding to a number of new offices, having recently increased from 1 to 2.

In the original office we have an Active Directory setup running on a Win 2008 Server and this works fine. We are also running Exchange 2007.

In the new office, all the systems are running independently with no server but we wish to have them all connecting to the same domain for purpose of sharing data, controlling user accounts centrally and also to all be connected to the same Exchange server in order to view calendars and share contacts etc.

We have set up our routers to connect using VPN site-to-site and this works ok - PC's in the new office can connect to our network at the original office.

Can you please offer some advice as to what we need to arrange in the original/new offices to meet our wishes as outlined above. We have a server ready for use in the new office with Server 08 installed and ready to go. How would we best proceed?

Thanks in advance
