NewsPro Implimentation

By ACSTech01 ·
I'm trying to upload NewsPro for content management to a client's server, and the server does *not* like it. :-) Whenever I try to set any preferences or "build news," NewsPro bounces back with a "File not found" error for both news.txt and newsdat.txt. Both files are CHMOD 777. Help! ;-)

Turns out the problem was not with the directory itself, but that I gave newspro a local path (i.e. /www/newspro) but it wanted the full path from root. Duh. :-)

OK, that last comment didn't make any sense. What I meant was that when setting up NP it asks you a few setup questions, like "where are the np scripts." I entered a local URL but NP wanted a path from the root dir.
