No History files in IE5

I HAVE IE5 INSTALLED ON WIN95 ‘B’. THE EXPLORER DOES NOT STORE MY HISTORY EVEN THOUGH I HAVE SET THE OPTION TO STORE FOR 30 DAYS AND ALLOCATED ENOUGH SPACE FOR STORING THE TEMPORARY FILES. ANY SUGGESTIONS ?

the first place to look is on the drive. Be sure that the directory ‘History’ is present in the ‘Windows’ directory. If it is there, check the ‘properties’ and make sure it is not read only, hidden (It *IS* a system file though). You might also check for ‘Internet Temproary Files’ and it’s properties. I don’t know if it would cause problems too or not.

Check the Internet Options in the Tools Menu and goto the Advanced tab and check if the “Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed” is checked. If yes, uncheck it and check it out…

This option is already unchecked. Problem not solved.
