No Logon Server to service Request issue….
LockedO.k. I need help. I am at a complete loss! I have recently upgraded to Windows 2003 domain. I have a Windows 2000 server that has file shares on it that users who are not part of the domain access via VPN and connect using credentials supplied for access to the file share. The problem is that I have a user that keeps getting this message.
There are currenlty no logon servers available to service this request.
He can ping the sever when he is on VPN and nobody else is having this issue that I am aware of. I did notice on the W2K server that there are errors in the Netlogon saying Error 5719
no Windows NT or Windows 2000 domain Controller available for Domain x. The following error occured: There are currently no logon servers available to service this request.
I have searched all over and cannot find a resolution to this problem that makes sense. It appears that this just started with the Netlogon service last week.
Any advice would be much appreciated!
TIA
