no video

i installed a new motherboard and i get no video
i tried on-board video and jumpered it to use a video card and installed a card that works still nothing checked all jumperes on mbd

The problem may exist due to a driver problem at first.
The jumper may be the cause of the problem now,you should consult the manual,boot computer to Bios setup locat the onboard video and select to disable,now install the video card in PCI or AGP slot,reinstall the driver software for card.

Try another monitor first? no luck? I am assuming no post as no screen? cpu properly insalled? MB manual should state which f key to hit on boot to reset to default? no luck? Possible shorted MB through riser pin screw downs? Does MB boot post when OUT OF THE CASE? If it does not then BAD MOTHER BOARD or CPU.

assuming no beeps when booting?
you have the cable from the back plate video connector to them motherboard installed and seated, yes?
make sure monitor brightness control is turned up...

Are the codecs loaded? Get Support from the Harware vendors....They are pretty good at these types of things!

Check the memory.
