I am new to AD and am trying to clean up our company’s AD. We had a domain that has been gone for a couple of years. The domain naming master does not show the domain but all of our child domains do show the domain in their Partitions container which I am able to see using ADSIedit.msc.
If I try to delete it from there, I get a message stating I need to do it from the domain naming master server. The domain naming master doesn’t show the domain but I can’t delete it on a child DC. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
