Nortel’s Contivity VPN Client not connecting all the time

I am required by 2 different customers of mine to use Nortel’s Contivity VPN client to remote to their networks to work on our servers.

If, after I start my computer and launch the Contivity VPN client, I can remote to site A without any issues. However, if I try to remote to site B, it fails now about 80% of the time with no reason in the log file other than “connection failed” – DUH!

Then after connection to site B fails, if I try to connect to site A, that fails. I have to reboot my computer in order to get reconnected to site A.

Any ideas on what is going on and how to tame this Contivity VPN client? I have no problems with Cisco VPN client or Microsoft VPN client or Global SonicWall VPN client….just Nortels.
