Norton Antivirus Corporate 10.1 - Users virus date list ?

By oran ·
Hello everyone,

i was wondering, is there some way, to use the AV Corporate Server, to view a list of all the computers on my network that has the client installd , and see what date are their antivirus definitions are? , so i can keep track of my 100 users to know that their antivirus is well updated.

is it possible? is there a 3rd party software for that ? i installd "Report server" , but i still dont know how to use it.

also i`d like to ask, is there a way to mass "push" an update on all users ? (have them all mass update to a newer definition file?)

thank you.

Oran.

What you ask for is default in the symantec control center.
If you install an AV server to manage your clients you can push a button for an AV view, in which you can see which definitions or engine the clients have installed.
ALso you can use it to push new updated (if the clients are online)
You can even push a new installation to a client using de AV server.

Good luck
