What issues would cause a Sony Vaio Notebook CD drive to bomb when trying to run .exe files?
I can play Music CD’s and the drive works fine. When I try to load a new program (.exe file) I get various error messages that will not allow me to run.
I tried booting to the recovery disk and nothing happens (black screen, no cursor). I tried running an application over our network and the screen flashes and then nothing happens.
