Notebook LCD blurry display

By msdinesh ·
Five months ago, I crack appeared on the backside of lcd casing near left hinge. After fixing it with Krazy clue, everything was working fine. However, a week ago, I saw that the screen display has become blurred and the screen even flickers sometimes. Could somebody please let me know what could be the problem - Video cable connection, adopter or the crack?
Thanks

Sounds like the cable may have gone bad. We get that all the time from our traveling laptop users and the mftr usually replaces the lcd.

Super glue is "usually" not the correct adhesive for any plastic.

For a "proper" repair, the assembly should have been clamped, and the correct bonding solvent for the actual plastic resin should have been applied to the crack.

What has happened is that the weakened plastic has spread. This reduces the tension in the LCD assembly.

It is also possible that a crack exists out of site on the LCD itself.

Options:
Take the laptop in for repair / replacement of the upper housing and / or LCD.

Disassemble the laptop, inspect the LCD.
Repair the crack and reinforce the area of the crack.
Reassemble the display.

Keep in mind, that if the laptop is under warranty, or covered by insurance, you are better off getting an estimate before attempting to repair it yourself.
