Notice to user(s) deleted

I understand your desire for privacy, but if you wish to solicit suggestions and advice it would be nice to be able to discriminate between the many "users deleted" that post on this board. Get a spam filter/ firewall and put your paranoia aside.

Not that simple

by TheChas In reply to Notice to user(s) deleted

Not all of the "user deleted" members are trying to hide.

There was/is a bug in the TR website that looses users from time to time.

I have shown up as user deleted on some questions that I have answered in the Q&A forum.

I was able to log out, and log back in to retrieve my identity.
Others have not been as lucky.

Look at the top rt of browser

The most common mistake is thinking you are logged in when you really are not.

This has happened to me when I have not been here for a while.

If your home page looks odd, then ten to 1 odds your not logged in. look up in the top rt hand side and see if it says log in. If it does then you have your answer.

TR site odd behavior!

by djent In reply to Look at the top rt of bro ...

I have noticed that when posting a reply TR responds with "access denied, you are not logged in" enven though I am. I then must copy my reply to the clipboard, log out, log back in find the discussion and paste my reply. I guess the best workaround is to sign the reply in the body text.
