I have a Windows 2000 Member Server. It is in production. I have 2 NT 4.0 Workstations which have their drives mapped to the Win2k Server via a Net Use Batch Routine. (No login scripts) All the drives map perfectly with the exepction of the “H” (Home) directory, which when mapped, maps to the root share of the H Drive volume. Each User has his/her own directory or “H Drive” within that volume. After mapping to the Root of “H”,the Users would then have to find their own Home Directory located within that Volume. BUT, our Windows 2000 Professsional machines map directly to their own home directory. (H:\
I think that this might be a Microsoft Client issue, but I cannot find anything on it via the Microsoft KB, or Technet.
Each User has Rights and Permissions to his/her own H Drive only. When it maps to the root of the H Drive volume, they can see the other Users directories, but cannot access them. The NT machines have SP 6a installed.
And the Win2k machines have SP 2 installed.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
