Built an replacement machine for a phase2 rollout. Tested this box thorougly for 3 weeks, ran great ;printed great! Everthing the balls!
Used it as a clone and am building 600 pcs with it. Using newsid after renaming the wrkst (incase we create workgroups in the future,doubtful).
Now after a month my first 11 remote sites are calling in saying they can’t print. Helpdesk discovers no printer icons in printer applet. Spooler’s down after a possible 3 print jobs into the day. Users don’t have right to start it, even if they did, I don’t think it would start. A reboot is needed. Then missing print jobs com out of the printer! This makes for a long b-day.
