I have a user who is currently using NT 4.0. The problem is that he has a local printer installed on his machine and he wishes to print something to his local printer, but the print job goes directly to a LAN printer. I noticed on the computer that the LAN printer is hanging off of has been configured to print off of LPT1. Also when ever any one else who has the same rights as the user logs onto his machine, they can print with out any problem. I am thinking as a result of the LAN printer which is printing from LPT 1 the local printer is not getting a chance to print. I hope someone might help me out.
