How do ODBC connections work? Specifically, I’ve put an Access database on my company’s intranet server and would like to create a simple web form for data entry. Currently I’m waiting for the Admin to create the connection. I’d just like some background info so that when the connection is established I can develop the user interface with more understanding of what is happening behind the scenes. If anyone can shed some light, point to some good websites, or suggest some good books it wouldbe helpful.
