I have a client with a Dell Latitude laptop running Windows 2000. He bought a OfficeJet all-in-one printer/fax/copier/scanner. It hooks to the laptop using a USB port. We have the drivers installed from HP website. When he sends a print job to the OfficeJet, his laptop turns off just like that. I don’t know if this is related, but when unplugs the laptop from the battery, it also turns off. I checked in the BIOS and the battery is at 0% and not charging when it is plugged in.
