You are about to put dinner in the oven. At home, you receive a call from a co-worker saying all their shortcuts are gone and they have an important off-site meeting tomorrow. You know that their laptop is set up to use offline files. What is your plan of action?

First plan of action is not to take the system to department store help because they know about as little as you do.

You make everyone in IT look dumb and lazy rather than the tricky little baustard you think you are.

Grow up loser.

The answer is very simple. Have a salad for dinner. And don't ever use that oven again. Unless, of course, you want to have this problem come up again.

I've had to replace more kitchen appliances than I care to remember due to this problem. Some phones cause at home service calls too. I say just throw them all out. I just hope that my television doesn't start creating service calls.
